- His partner was dealing with an enormous family crisis, and the poster recognised that. Asking whether they could build any future within the ongoing reality was not the same as demanding immediate attention.

- Agreed that moving on is not a crime and does not automatically make her dishonest. The painful part is that “not ready for a relationship” sounded general to the poster, while the outcome now feels very personal.

- Blocking her may help if seeing updates keeps reopening this, but it is worth choosing it as protection rather than punishment. Her new relationship does not tell you that your four months meant nothing.
